Accompanist

Accompanist LIZ GLADMAN

Liz has played the piano since childhood.

Born in County Durham, she moved to Mold, North Wales in 1975. In 1978 she was appointed pianist for Ellesmere Amateur Operatic Society, a position she held for almost 20 years.

After a course at Winchester College, she became the Musical Director of EPADS. coaching the chorus members and the principals for their parts in the annual shows – ‘My Fair Lady’, ‘Annie’, ‘South Pacific’ and ‘Me and My Girl’, to name a few. She has also conducted the orchestra during the performance of the shows.

She has played the piano for other local societies, including ‘The Dee and Alyn Gilbert and Sullivan Society’, ‘Cor Cilcain’, ‘Castle Singers’ and ‘The Great Sutton Male Voice Choir’.

She joined INTERLUDE in May 2009 and finds great joy in playing and accompanying them in their enjoyable and varied repertoire.
