INTERLUDE

Chester’s Musical Revue Company was formed in March 1991 when a small number of like-minded people met together to form a group of talented musicians who could perform at concerts and similar occasions.

Since those small beginnings we have matured in to a Company capable of entertaining anywhere good music is required, be it a soiree, a fund-raising concert, an after-dinner performance or a Company presentation.

We have performed at many and varied venues in our time such as Eaton Hall, The Gateway Theatre, Chester Cathedral, Chester Town Hall and many, many village halls and schools, private houses and Grosvenor Park, Chester.

• A couple of years ago we performed the opera ‘Carmen’ in the Chester Roman Amphitheatre in front of 2,000 people. This was a truly sensational and successful event, and most enjoyable for all concerned.

We have probably the finest collection of musicians around the Chester area and the fact that we enjoy performing the way we do ensures our audiences enjoy what they see and hear. We are dedicated to being no more than sixteen voices, and we perform without a conductor.
